Nature Explorer

Nature Explorer is an inclusive outdoor adventure program that invites children of all abilities to connect with nature in fun, accessible, and meaningful ways. Designed to spark curiosity and build confidence, Nature Explorer offers sensory-friendly and adaptive experiences like nature walks, scavenger hunts, garden play, and hands-on discovery activities.

Whether it’s feeling the textures of tree bark, listening to birdsong, or exploring trails with adaptive equipment, every child is encouraged to explore at their own pace in a supportive, welcoming environment.

We believe nature is for everyone. Nature Explorer helps children develop a love for the outdoors while fostering social interaction, independence, and environmental awareness. It’s not just a walk in the park — it’s a chance to build memories, friendships, and confidence.

Community Inclusion Days

Community Inclusion Days are all about bringing people together. Hosted by The Michael Mackie Project, these special events are designed to create joyful, inclusive experiences where children of all abilities — and their families — can connect, play, and participate in typical community fun, without barriers.

From seasonal celebrations and adaptive games to arts, music, and sensory-friendly activities, Community Inclusion Days offer something for everyone. These events are thoughtfully planned to ensure accessibility, comfort, and fun in a welcoming environment where every child feels seen, valued, and included.

At their heart, Community Inclusion Days foster belonging — helping build stronger, more compassionate communities where inclusion isn’t the exception, it’s the standard.
